Ok, now that Obama has completely separated himself from Rev. Wright, I have a question for Democrats...

Back in the last presidential election, Michael Moore was wined, dined and given a place of honor at the DNC convention.  Why?  Because he said exactly the same things Wright said.

Cindy Whatsitsname was a media darling.  Ever word that came from her lips was carried through the media like a clarion call.  Why?  Because she said exactly what Wright has said.

Hugo Chavez is a hero among left wing democrats... for saying exactly what Wright said.

In fact, left wing democrats have made it clear that they believe 9/11 was an inside job at worst, and something allowed to happen by the Bush administration at best.

So, how is it that, in this election year, a front running candidate for the Democrat nomination feels forced to distance himself from a man who proclaims in the name of Jesus Christ that "America's chickens... have come home... to roost?"

Has the left wing abandoned the accusations?  Do Obama supporters distance themselves from anyone who believes what Wright, Moore, Whatsitsname and Chavez have said?

Why is a candidate for the Democrat nomination running away from something that the DNC has embraced for years?

No, but Obama knows that he needs more than the moonbats to get elected, so HE is distancing himself. His moonbats are not.

I think LW hit the nail closest to the head with her theory, even as out there as it seems.

Politics.

Cindy Whatsitsname was a media darling.  Ever word that came from her lips was carried through the media like a clarion call.  Why?  Because she said exactly what Wright has said.

I liked her in the aspect that she was actually standing up for something believed in, that is something I respect and like, but she just went off her rock one too many times.

Hugo Chavez is a hero among left wing democrats... for saying exactly what Wright said.

Actually, I don't like or trust the guy. I may be wrong, and maybe he has really is trying help his country and all, but some of the shit he's tried to pull in Venezuela, is tripe. I talked with a friend who lives there recently and he says that there seems to be a split between those who idolize him and those who dislike/fear him.

In fact, left wing democrats have made it clear that they believe 9/11 was an inside job at worst, and something allowed to happen by the Bush administration at best.

Those would be the illogical, slightly crazy ones. I'm left wing, and democrat (only cause I have to), and I dont buy that conspiracy theory.

I think he's distancing himself in that Wright has pretty much turned on him/betrayed him. Honestly, if someone did that to me, i'd be pissed. You don't do that to people, you don't betray loyalty and such.

I don't distance myself from anyone. I try to listen and understand them. They're humans just like me, and we'll probably disagree often.

What do you mean? As in, why is it not going lock stock and barrel for a political machine hack like Clinton, and the other loonies? Honestly, I think that people are waking up and going, "Oh snap, now I get it." Hopefully, I could be wrong, but that's what I've witnessed.
