In his "documentary", "An Inconvenient Truth", Al Gore showed a graph.  Using this graph, he hoped to show some kind of causal relationship between CO2 emissions and global warming.  At the end of the segment, he mounted a scissor lift and showed the next 50 years... According to his "graph" the global temperature is going to do nothing but rise.

It has only been two years since introduced his Articles of Faith in Global Warming to the world.  Two years later, Mother Nature is laughing in Gore's face.. along with the rest of us.

Instead of the steep and steady rise in temperature, 2008 has seen a drop in average temperature of up to .75C.  That's almost the same as the rise, over the last century that the Priest of Global Warmingism point to as "evidence" to back their religion.

Some will point out, the term 'global wareming is no longer operable.  It is now "global climate change".  They are right... at least as far as terminology goes.  However, Al Gore (their exalted prophet) warned us of 50 years of increased termperatures.

Don't we stone false prophets?

Here, watch for youself... Enjoy a good laugh!

Remember when Algore said "Everything that should be up is down, and everything that should be down is up"? This now applies to global warming. Average tempratues that he predicted would be way up is now way down.

Actually, he was just measuring the CO2 levels, there which are indeed spiking.

However, I don't like the way he represented CO2 and temperature on the same graph...that's probably misleading to some extent. (It was ppm on the y-axis, you measure temperature in Celsius...so they really shouldn't have been represented like that.)

CO2 levels do indeed trap more heat...however, that heat will move around and cause a shift in winds and possibly ocean currents.  Some places get hotter, others get colder.  Of course, it's a hard phenomenon to explain on a global scale...if everything was closed on a local scale we'd probably see real, concrete effects in a relatively short time.

I guess time will tell if we're going to destroy the world or not...of course by then it'll be too late to do anything.  Might as well not worry about it.

The thing about "global warming"...scientists think that the last ice age was helped along by gloabal warming. The term "global warming" is a little misleading, because it actually causes the Earth's temperature to eventually drop......

But he uses the rest of the graph to show that CO2 levels and global temps go up and down together.  Which is another fraud.

It's only misleaing because it turns out to be wrong, so the term has to be changed to fit the errors.

Well...it sorta does.  There is a relationship, it only makes sense, just maybe not to the extent that was displayed.  I did take issue with his presentation technique because he didn't mention how the temperature was measured.  A line looks impressive, but you have to tell people how it was recorded...was it Farenheit, Kelvin, Celsius?  Was it by one degree, 5, 10?  There was no mention of that...so yes, it was probably buffed to look more dramatic because people don't give a crap if it's only a few degrees.  The bigger, the more important it seems.

Bye, bye first three rocks from the sun. It's red giant hug time.

Mars will get an unobstructed view of the sun...while being baked like a potato.

hahahahaha ummmmmmm don't you mean what the "SON" will do to the earth anytime now?

Don't forget Gore is....... well.....a politician. Do any of them ever tell the truth?

So..ahhh...what do people have to do with it, then?  If it happened naturally before, how the hell are humans supposed to change it?  I think we think that mankind has more affect on Mother Nature than we we really do.

I think that is called the arrogance of specism.

You mean how we decimate entire species? Pollute entire ecosystems? Cause destruction routinely every single day?

Admittedly nature can recover if we leave something that's able to recover. When we kill everything in a certain place...well, there's a huge lag in regeneration(provided that whatever we killed hasn't gone extinct). During the lag we do more and more to screw stuff up...you can take it from there to see how much of an effect we can have.

Life will always find a way...but it takes time for it to adapt.

Do you understand why it dropped?  I mean did you do ANY research?  It's a global La Nina causing the drop.  Once that's run its course we will go will CONTINUE our trend of warming.  Have you seen the ice shelves melting in the South Pole?  Or how we have now charted new courses through the north pole for shipping because there is less ice.  Are you reading?  Do you read in general?

True, and trying to "fix" something that doesn't need fixing never ends well.

If an increase in temp by 1 Degree (C) in 100 years is significant, then how is a reduction of .75 Degrees (C) in 1 year insignificant?

100 years of "global warming" has been all but made up for in one year.

Keep spreading Gore's lies for him... every organ grinder needs a monkey.
